Jessica Amos was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degree in Forensic Biology at Laurentian University and obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. Dr. Amos is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, and the Sault Ste. Marie and District Dental Society. She maintains privileges at the Sault Area Hospital and is able to provide dental treatment there for patients under general anaesthetic.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Amos enjoys running and is an avid supporter of many local races including: the Jingle Bell Fun Run, which raises money for the local soup kitchen; the Mountain Maple Run; and the Muddy Moose Charge- a fundraising run for the Canadian Cancer Society. She likes to spend her free time reading, following baseball, and appreciating the outdoors with her family.
